 We’re so excited to introduce our newest faculty member — joining us at select cities near you!
A Los Angeles native with a story of faith and perseverance, Mykell began his journey while studying Communications at Cal State LA. Though he started later than most, his determination and belief in himself helped him break barriers and build an incredible career.
He’s toured with Justin Bieber, Prince, Hailee Steinfeld, Austin Mahone and more, and choreographed or contributed choreography for Ciara, Tinashe, Britney Spears, Katseye, Jackson Wang, Anitta, and brands like Skechers, Puma, Ford, Apple, and Royal Bank.
As a dancer, Mykell has worked with Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliott, Sabrina Carpenter, Michael Jackson, Dua Lipa, Pharrell, Chris Brown, Ciara, Cardi B, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, and SZA — gracing stages at three Super Bowl Halftimes, the MTV VMAs, BET Awards, Grammys, Oscars, Billboard Awards, AMAs, SNL, Coachella, plus global events for Disney and Nickelodeon.
On screen, his credits include Cheaper By The Dozen, Candy Cane Lane, Dance Flick, Winning Time (HBO), The Perfect Couple with Nicole Kidman, and he’s currently Associate Choreographer under Rich & Tone and dancer playing Boogaloo Shrimp in “Michael,” the Lionsgate biopic about Michael Jackson.
Beyond the stage, Mykell is a best-selling author, speaker, and certified life coach, inspiring others to overcome challenges and believe that life is as big as you dream it to be. 🌟
