Mykell Wilson
Mykell Wilson is a Los Angeles native who had a tough upbringing and a lot of hope. While in college, Cal State LA Communications major, he also pursued dance, acting and music. Tho he started later than most, with great faith and determination he worked hard and broke barriers. He has gone on to do multiple tours with Justin Bieber, Prince, Hailee Steinfeld, Austin Mahone and more. He has choreographed music videos/contributed tour choreography for Ciara, Tinashe, Britney Spears, Katseye, Jackson Wang, Anitta, Skechers, Puma, Ford, Apple, Royal Bank and more. As a dancer he’s worked with: Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliot, Sabrina Carpenter, Michael Jackson, Dua Lipa, Pharrell, Chris Brown, Ciara, Cardi B, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, SZA and the list really goes on. His work with the top artists of our time have blessed him to grace the stages of 3 Super Bowl Halftimes, multiple appearances at the MTV VMA’s, BET awards, Grammys, Oscars, Billboard Awards, American Music Awards, SNL, Coachella, global festivals, Disney and Nickelodeon.
Mykells experience has not been limited to live music events. Some of his recent Film and Tv credits, as an actor and dancer, include: Cheaper By The Dozen, Candy Cane Lane, Dance Flick, Winning Time on HBO, The Perfect Couple with Nicole Kidman and most recently he is the associate choreographer and dancer playing boogaloo shrimp in “Michael,” the Lionsgate biopic about Michael Jackson.
Mykell grew up around the stars but discovered some of the brightest lights weren’t those that were already shining, but those waiting to be revealed. With his platform and influence he has used his life to motivate and counsel many to not just pursue their dreams, but to overcome their obstacles. He is the best selling author of “The Mighty Little Book,” a self-development book available everywhere books are sold and speaks professionally in the area of faith, purpose and career. He even had a certified life-coaching mentorship program. To say the least, Mykell has a lot to share and even more to still experience; he represents the truth that life is as big as you believe it can be.
